In this edition of Lifestyle in a letter we bring you an exclusive interview with British media personality Danielle Lloyd. The travel loving mother of 5 opens up about her travel business, her travel advice and her travel mishaps.

How long have you been running your own travel business @travelsmarterwithmissdlloyd ? 

I’ve been running my business now for almost 4 years when I was pregnant with Autumn I didn’t really work so took some time off.

What made you want to enter working in the travel industry?

I decided to join the travel business at the start to just save on my own travel. I actually joined in lockdown so had a lot of time to do the training. I also enjoy the fact I’ve helped others join the world of travel and create amazing businesses for themselves.

Where is your favourite holiday destination and why?

I love Dubai it’s my favourite place as there is so much to do there especially for the kids and your always guaranteed good weather. We also got married there so it’s our special place.

As a travel advisor if you could recommend a really good holiday destination for an Autumn getaway where would it be?

I don’t think you can go wrong with Tenerife or the Canary Islands in Autumn it’s still hot and got some beautiful hotels.

Have you ever had any holiday or travel mishaps? ( i.e. losing a passport, missing a flight etc)

I once returned from Miami and left my handbag on the back of the trolley someone stole it with my passport in. I was meant to be flying to LA a few days later for work it was awful I was so upset but thankfully I managed to get a one day passport so I still made it to LA.

What are your top 5 essential holiday and travel items?

50 factor, sun hat , snack for the kids , technology or toys for the kids , chargers
